1. Overview
This Payment Terms Policy governs all transactions made through ket.co.ke, the official platform for KET Online Express Merchants. By placing an order, users agree to comply with the payment terms outlined below.
2. Account Levels & Payment Structures
a) Retail Accounts
- Payment Terms: 100% Upfront
- Order Processing: Begins only after payment confirmation
- Payment Methods: Mobile Money (M-Pesa), Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer
b) Wholesale Accounts
- Default Payment: 100% Upfront
- Eligible Terms (on approval):
- P.O.D (Payment on Delivery)
- Credit Terms: Net 7, Net 14, or Net 30 Days (based on agreement)
3. Invoicing
Invoices are automatically generated upon order confirmation. They include total amount, payment instructions, due dates, and any applicable tax charges. Credit-approved accounts will receive invoices with specific Net terms.
4. Accepted Payment Methods

5. Ownership & Late Payment
All goods remain the property of TDK Networks East Africa until fully paid for.
Late payments on credit-approved accounts will attract a 5% monthly penalty. Consistent failure to pay may result in:
- Account suspension
- Revocation of credit privileges
- Engagement of collection services or legal action
6. Refunds & Disputes
- Refunds are only applicable for pre-dispatch cancellations, incorrect deliveries, or confirmed stock issues.
- Disputes must be reported within 5 business days of receipt.
- Refunds are issued within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
7. Policy Updates
This policy is subject to updates at the discretion of KET Online Express Merchants. Customers will be deemed to have accepted the revised terms by continuing to use the platform after changes are published.
